CRYLOFLEX
Acrylic Elastomeric Crack Sealer

INTRODUCTION

CRYLOFLEX is an Acrylic Crack Sealer that cures to a rubber – like texture and remains flexible to accommodate thermal or structural movement in small cracks. It dries to provide excellent waterproofing characteristics.

APPLICATIONS

Stopping water leaks

Vertical or Horizontal surfaces.
Residential and Commercial Applications.
Parking Garages and Parking Areas.
Interior or Exterior Application.

CURING:

CRYLOFLEX requires no special curing instruction. The product will cure within 24 Hrs. Lower tempraturs will slow the curing rate. Do not apply CRYLOFLEX if the rain is expected within 24 hrs. as it may wash off the product.

TOOL CLEANING:

Tools should be clean with water before CRYLOFLEX hardens.

TYPICAL ENGINEERING DATA

Elongation: > 200 %
Elastic Memory: Good

CRYLOFLEX will accept normal traffic in 48 hours if curing temperature is 210C and @ 50 % relative humidity. Expect complete cure within 3 – 4 days.

PLACEMENT

Horizontal Slabs: Widen the crack to at least about 10 mm. and depth of 10 mm. and fill it completely with CRYLOFLEX. Minimum surface area is required to obtain good bond strength.

PRECAUTIONS & LIMITATIONS :

Do not apply when ambient temperatures are below 150C.
No heavy traffic until the product has cured.
Allow to dry before exposure to water.
Do not apply in Structural Cracks since it is not expected to provide structural integrity.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

CRYLOFLEX is a one part product and requires no pre – mixing. Use the material directly from the container.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE – FULLY CURED SAMPLE

Water: Excellent
Gasoline: Excellent
Oil: Excellent
Salts (5 % Calcium Chloride): Excellent

APPLICATION:

SURFACE PREPARATION: New concrete must be a minimum of 28 days old. The cracks must be clean and sound. All oil, dust, debris, paint and any other material that might be a bond – breaker must be removed. The final step in cleaning should a vaccum cleaner or pressure washing. THE CRACK MUST BE PRE – DAMPENED FOR PROPER ADHESION OF THE CRYLOFLEX.
